The agro industry has seen a boost mainly due to the president’s renewed interest to ensure the nation is self sufficient. Dating back to centuries ago, Nigeria was known for being a giant in the African continent especially with regards to her agricultural prowess.
However, the discovery of oil in the 60s made her shift focus from agriculture. Hopefully, the newed effort by the government will encourage more people to take agriculture seriously and also attract investors from around the country and Africa at large.
